i remember a topic back on 968.net that listed a site that supplied the damper plate for ALOT less than most places
like 400 to 500 for a new one
i even remember buying one back in the day
just cant find the site now

I don't the status from the project that Flash was working on? Is the old damperplate still in the box or has he thought about an alternative? for the rubber inside already?
I love to think about it but I do not have an old one to do some experiments with.
