So there are shops to which you send your hood and they build vents and latches in it , or do you purchase the entire replacement aftermarket hood like that and just have it painted ?

Turbo RS air vent , to go with the huge top opening in the modified and good looking front PU

Not sure I like that huge rear wing though

Met and talked with the owner on Saturday.  It appears to be a faithful re-creation of a Turbo-RS.  Saw the engine bay and it's immaculately done.   The engine is from a 944 as it should be if it were a true RS.   He said it's an S2 engine that's been turbocharged.

I would like it better if he had selected the Speed Yellow or Red for a Turbo-RS.  Regardless....very nice owner who has clearly put a lot into the car.  While I was there, they fired it up and left......sounded fantastic.

That wing isn’t that big and the angle seems steep. Looks cool though. Wonder if they’ve done any testing on it?

So he had the OE ( factory ) 951 turbo kit , or an aftermarket turbo ? One of the bay area 968 guys had a Powerhaus turbo which was producing about 480 HP , IIRC, but there was also another version with less HP a couple of other 968 members were considering at the time , because the " big one " required so much maintetence , the car spent more time in the garage than on the road.

They must be just about the biggest wheels you can get in the arches,

Very nice tribute indeed
