Correct offset for a 9 inch wheel
#1

Does anyone know what the correct offset should be for a 16 inch x 9 inch wide wheel? Mine says 9/70 on the wheel near the valve stem but it seems to sit too far inboard. In know that the correct offset for an 7 inch wheel is 55 m and for an 8 inch wheel is 52 mm.

If it is about 45-50 mm what do you think about adding a 20 mm bolt-up spacer to move the wheels out a bit?

a 20mm spacer will absolutely REQUIRE replacing the studs with longer ones, unless you get the bolt-on type

this will also add a significant amount of weight to the wheel, and will require balancing independent of the wheel, unless you get the bolt on type (which adds even more weight)
