thanks. That lloks like the same wire as on mine. I am going to have to dig up the switch and look more carefully, i don't think the switch that I have will connect to that wire. According to the catalog, the door switches and the parking lever switch are the same. I pulled the door switch out and the connector is different. I was thinking that the wire /like the one shown in pic/ on my car,may have gone to something with the seat. Will have to look again today.

Well I figured it out. I have looked at the wire and connector at least 5 times over the last year and never noticed that the piece that I thought was the connector, was a broken piece of the old park brake switch. After pulling the broken piece out, I managed to connect the switch and wire, although the switch had 1/8 spade conn, and the wire was 1/4. Parking brake light is functional now. woohoo.
Funny how the little stuff can seem like a huge accomplishment.
