Cleaning Cloth Seats
#1

Got some serious waterstains on my cloth seats when an ice chest leaked in the back seat last week. Tried to clean them with distilled water which has worked in the past. Looks like I need something stronger now. Anyone been using a product to clean their cloth seats?

I use a carpet cleaner. Rub in with moist sponge, then vacuum it. Worked fine so far. Try on a small hidden area first.

Tried that without much success. Darryl is getting me some magic stuff to try. Hopefully that'll do it.  I love the look of Porsche Script seats, and they are fairly rare over here, but this is a downside. I have nice seat covers on the front seats for this reason. Even with a cup holder, my passenger sometimes gets a little "spilly", and blames the driver.

So Darryl sent me some Adam's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner to try.  I'm pretty reluctant to change products when something has worked in the past.  However, I'm a convert now!  This stuff cleaned up the stains and even helped reduce a stain that was there when I got the car 10 yrs ago! Touched up the carpet while I was at it. No "carpet cleaner smell" either. So I guess I now need to try other Adam's stuff. Thanks, Darryl!

You're welcome!  The Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner is nothing short of amazing.  I've used it to work some magic on quite a few seats, carpets, and floor mats over the years that most people didn't think could be saved.

Also, there is no soap in it so it won't "re-foam" when you get in the car with wet shoes in the event that you don't get it all absorbed up.  Glad it did the trick!

Adam's products are the best you can buy, especially from Darryl Smile
