I need to lower my headlamps a bit deeper into the fender well... they're buggin' out a little.

other than the aiming adjustment screws, does one need to remove the bumper cover to access the "global adjusment screws" that raise or lower the entire headlamp assembly?

the factory manual makes it look easy, with BIG ARROWS pointing to the adjustment screws - but the illustration is with the unit out of the vehicle.

in the field - those screws seem pretty much impossible to access without taking the bumper off.

can any experienced hands weigh in here?

I may need some of the same answers....Just bought my first 968. My lights seem to be in the proper position when down, but when i turn them on they don't seem to be fully upright. Looking from the sideview of the car the light assembly is tipped back toward the driver about 15 degrees.

Can you shed some info on this??

thanks..........G <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

tilted back a little is correct - less wind resistance.
