Cheap 968
#1

Here's a beater on Craigslist that would be a good donor car for racing. Or, Pablo - let's turn this into an enduro car that we can both take to the races and team up! I''ve got half the purchase cost and some spares.

" Hicksville " ?! Glad the photos of the car do not show it up on blocks, that might cause some unwarranted potshots to be taken at the town's name..

Ben! You are certainly on drugs! That's all we need... ANOTHER RACE CAR! For starters, neither yours nor mine are "finished"... BUT... I do have to admit... it would be fun to build and race an enduro 968....

I think I may actually have an extra engine with a race head on the way.

Nonetheless, we ought to join forces and do an enduro in one, or both our cars next year... in NASA though... only way I will race SCCA is in one of them MadMax cars with spikes and stuff that shoots fire to keep them crazeee bumper car drivers off.... Pablo - I am a 968 drug addict :-) Usually this time of year I start surfing for another project - I gotta make sure I have enough $$ left for a paint job, body work and some dyno time for the current car!

That 968 project on the site is still for sale - race motor in a crate and a caged tub ready to go. I'm still thinking about the motor but I bet the whole package could be bought for a good price.
