What is the best angle//view of a 968
#1

My regular car (Audi Q7) had to go down to Brisbane to the dealer for what I thought (and two mechanics) was a rear wheel bearing failure - the Dealer tells me it is the tyres making the noise - not convinced.

Anyway, I have been driving the 968 for a week to and from work. When I park it at work, it is on a lsight downhill angle and the view over the bonnet of the headlight/guards profile (lloking from the rear quarter) to me is a bloody good profile of the car. I will take a photo and post it.

This leads me to an interesting topic. What do you think is the best angle/profile to view a 968 at. Drop your photos and view points into the forum.

Thanks,

Craig

I disagree - perhap one of the best views of the world is from the steering wheel of a 968 as it goes by, but it is not the best view of the car.

Surely most people did not buy a 968 because of the view from the steering wheel - if that was the case, we would have bought a post 85.5 944.

Damn, there are going to be a lot of varying opinions on this, great topic! Now I need to go wash my car and take a picture...

Ryan, that is a nice rear end shot...oh, is that a 968?

Ryan's view wins.. by far !

That said, here's an angle which I like just because it makes the car seem sleeker and a lot wider..

If I may state the obvious, this just as easily could have been, "Are you and ass or boobs man?"

Personally, I'm more into legs.

This is my favorite view from the top of a 15 foot ladder about 50 feet away with a slight zoom:

For the coupe, it has gotta be the 3/4 view from the front, like flash's example. Although I also like the basic square view of the back.

Does anyone know the option code or part number for Ryan's bumper over-riders. I think they compliment the car well, but they look a bit tatty and need to have the upholstery removed.

I am not sure how well they will age and perhaps need to be routinely replaced?

If anyone remembers that summer yellow 968 for sale on Autotrader, there was a picture of it from about 20ft up and 20ft away looking straight at the front. I wished I would have saved it. One of the best in my opinion.

This is dort of the angle I was looking for, but I could not replace it. THe look across the bonnet with the two headlights just showing and the wing profile, looks like a sportier 993.

Another angle - front 3/4 view down low with a wide angle lens to make the front look wider.
