Seat motor access port
#1

I just installed a long missing plastic cover on the driver's side seat motor. The panel has an opening on the top, front of the cover that leads to an opening in the electric motor assembly.

Is this an oil port? If so what type of oil and how often?

If not, what is it?

Isn't that to allow you to operate the seat with a special tool in case of a failure of the motor or electronics?

Yes, I just found it in the owner's manual. Emergency fore/aft adjustment with an allen wrench.

Thanks Tom.
