My 968 did not come with the boot cover, so I was shopping around...

 

convertibletopguys.com have;

 

A5 German Sonnenland Canvas at $680 and Sonnendeck Canvas at $560
 
 

germanautotops.com have;

 

German A5 at $525 and Twillfast at  $425

 

What is the difference in these materials? any other sellers out there?

 

I'd like to get a boot that is quality... but ouch

twilfast sucks - cheap fabric.  it fades fast and doesn't hold dimension long.

many moons ago I had a couple old MGs one with a Tonneau cover... I thought it is was great when by myself, but my wife never liked using it when she drove the car, so I put it in the trunk.

 

It went unused for years, one day when I decided use it, it had shrunk and no longer fit. so probably not going down that path again.

 

So know you know who the boss is in our family
