Black hazard light switch in 944
#1

Was sitting in a friend's 944 tonite, and noticed the hazard light switch was not obnoxious clown-nose red, but instead was black with a clear-red surface that looked black until you activate the switch.

I would be satisfied replacing my switch with this one, which appeared to be the original Porsche part.

Anyone else sourced that switch; or have the part number?

Thanks,

--Michael

hey, I just noticed this is my 99th post! cool. Need to think of one more frivolous thing to post, so that I can open a beer to celebrate #100 :0)

Years ago I replaced the red 968 with the nicer 944 switch. Found one at ebay.

part # is 944-613-235-00-01C, I got mine last Oct. at Sunset for $54.90. It looks so much better than the clown nose!

i'm so glad i moved all the switches around. however, remembering how much work it was, i am not exactly eager to do it to the white car. that's probably going to wait until i decide to change out the interior to full leather, and install the better sound system.
