better Bra
#1

During the 968 event in Newtown, I commented to California Bob that I was unhappy with my Bra (the one on my 968 Coupe) since it had a hole for the front license plate, which I did not need. I had placed a patch of black material behind the Bra, to cover the hole, but it just did not look right. Bob indicated that he had 968 embroidered on his Bra and I decided to try that out. Upon return I gave the Bra to my leather expert and he did a super job sewing in a matching leather patch with the numbers 968 in the car color, for about $70. If anybody in the Harrisburg, PA area wants his info, I can provide, just send me a PM.

That looks great!

When I ordered a Colgan bra for my BMW, I had the option of a cutout for the license plate or no cut out. Does the 968 bra not have this option? Or is this one a different brand?

i've never seen a 968 bra without the plate cutout - i did the plate filler on mine because i run no front plate - i did quite a few other mods to the bra too

Bombfactory,

Bought the car new in NY State which did require a front license plate. Retired to PA which does not. Question was to buy a new hole-less Bra or convert the existing one.

Rap, only time the Bra is on is when I take a long trip and plan on killing many bugs by doing 85mph, er 45mph on country roads near Newtown - lol!

Hey Bomb,

Sorry I did answer your question - yes, it is a Colgan and yes, Colgan does sell a 968 Bra w/o front hole.

Rap, er, I meant 85 kph but then you know my true speed since I was right behind you in the "FR" (Fun Run or Fast Racing) Caravan - lol!

Andy no it doesn't. It's just like the old 60's bra. Firm and straight forward. I hope my dry sardonic wit is not wasted on you!

Boiled raw. There is no need for a bra if it's raw!
