Can you pull the torquetube on a Tip easily?
#1

For instance, without disturbing the tranny? I have the dreaded intermittent chuckle/rattle at cold idle that sounds like a fractured flexplate. I am guessing that on a Manual, pulling the torque tube requires moving the whole trans backwards off its mounts, but on the Tip, it would seem simpler, as there is not so much shaft stuck in to the tranny input. Has anyone tried this, who can also advise me? I have a '92, 968 Tip Coupé. Thanks/Tim
