Well, "ol blue" was the only 968 at the 2009 Boxstoberfest in Fredricksburg, TX this year. What a fun event! Great German food and German beer made the social events more fun than most. The driving events were a blast, even if it did rain every day. One Boxster slid off the road during a driveout and ended in the water and needed to be pulled out, two others ran into rocks in the road and bent their rim and caused a big bulge in the tire. When we got to the optional track event on Sunday, after the end of the official event, we got to see a Honda S2000 slide off the track and a BMW M3 roll in one of the turns. No injuries, but the BMW is a total loss. The track is a private club near San Marcos, TX at Harris Hill Raceway. See lots of pictures of the event on the Boxstoberfest web site.
