I'm typically not a fan of add-on mods that serve little to no purpose. I'm even more against ones that originate with other cars and is then sold as glue on mods for the masses. i.e. the BMW Halo's, Maserati side vents and the Supra tail lights.
But this Audi light bar, which is now being used by VW, Porsche and Rolls, has really gotten my attention. I'm thinking of adding it to my 68. What was that? Where am I going to put it? Well let me ask you all 2 questions.
1. Would you add this light
Bar
2. Where would you stick this light? ( I'm only looking for suggestions on the car! )
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

I like the new Audi lights....on the Audi. As far as adding something like this to an older car, any older car for that matter, like biotechee, I don't like mixing bulb types. Perhaps you could pull it off on certain vehicles if you did an entire package, but just sticking this in place of the fogs on the 968 or somewhere else probably would be a bad idea.

OK, So we all agree that I should do it!
The photoshop idea is a good one. As for where, I was thinking under the fog lights or in place of them. To make it look like it belonged there, perhaps filling in the open gap with air intakes. Yes, 2 intakes where the fogs were with this light bar underneath. Wonder if the inlets could assisted the SC.
OK, who's our photoshop guy?

LOL- Bob, I gotta say, you do amaze me. You are truly wired different. Everyone else is caught up in the aesthetics, function etc. yet in your head a flag goes up and you clearly see whats typically never even thought of till were at the DMV.
Your like Neo.

I think the LED christmas lights on the front of Audis look very cheap and tacky.
When was the last time someone said "Oh, look at the LED lights, those look really elegant. I bet they were expensive."
They are harsh and spotty-looking. Bleagh. BMW Angel Eyes look rather clean and nice by comparison.

Fox944 replacing both the turn signals and foglights with a single piece that wraps around and has an led light bar integrated in the design.

Good catch on the turn signals as they almost incorporate into the fogs. Hmmm... Back to the Brain storm.

I'm looking at the back of the 5 series via the link you have and all I see are the little red lenses over the tailpipes. Is that what you mean?

Lite bright. Great toy.
I like those tail lights. I would like to freshen up all the lights on the 68 but its nothing I would rush out to do. That light bar is still on my mind though.
I think I can pull it off. Having that single bar under the lights will flow with the lines of the car nicely.
