a little crazed this week
#21

lol- ouch.

i was smart enough not to fall into the "kid trap". i never understood that one anyway. i hate kids.

but, i definitely enjoy dogs, though they certainly bring as many complications with them as kids do. i dislike puppies though, so at least i'm consistent there. it's a good thing they are so danged cute. otherwise i would have drowned it already.

Another one along the same lines is, "Father's dream - to someday live as well as his wife and kids." I can definitely relate to that one...

Wow, thats is some crazy contractual agreements for a dog. I recently put together foundation stock of all Leavitt/olde english bulldogges. It will be about another year before I have a litter, the bitches have just got their first heat. I have contracts too, and am very selective about where my dogs go, but nothing like that. Puppies are a handful, I know. I have 4 of them. No kids though. Dogs are enough for me. I tend to like dogs more than people.

I suppose on the flip side, dogs won't put you in a home when you start becoming "inconvenient".

Darlene and I have 5 kids, so odds are that at least 1 might care enough to visit...
