I recently read "The Art of Racing in the Rain," by Garth Stein, and would highly recommend it (see, not every book I read is a geek-fest discussing energy policy or climate change <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ). It's a really fun book covering the life of an aspiring race driver and his family through the eyes of Enzo, the family dog. Very cleverly written, and the descriptions of of the craft of driving a race car are very well done.
