The restoration is coming along quite well and now we are on the rebuild stage. We have a few questions that don't seem to be covered in the manual so here they are:
1: What tool is required to remove the camshaft sprocket? It looks like a Torx head, but not sure.
2: What is the part number of the rubber strip used to hold the radiator snug in the vertical guides? Can't find it on PET.
3: What is the routing of the manual bonnet (hood)release cable?
4: Does anyone have a photo of the installation of the A/C pressure switch. The harness that goes to it has been spliced into and a relay connected to the circuit. I'm not sure where the pressure switch should go for this '92 cabrio, as it's missing. I'm guessing on top of the dryer.
5: Does anyone have any photos of the engine bay with the plastic covers removed, the front underside with the shields removed and the rear underside?
We're just waiting for the arrival of the flywheel lock to start doing the belts. We also need to remove the camshaft sprocket because the casting with the tapped holes for the distributor case have been sheared and it would be difficult to repair in-situ. Hence the question about removing that bolt.
thanks
