Anyone know if Harvey is still making these sills, and if so, how to get ahold of him?

Any other sources out there? I have seen some very nice ones in use, but I can't find any for sale.

there is one guy out there that says he's going to make them. based on recent experience though, i would not personally do business with him. take that for what it's worth.

these are something that i had intended to get to, but never did, as i already had a set. if i ever start things up again, or partner up with somebody, i can knock them out easily enough though.

It sure sounds like there remains a demand for some good quality sills. If you ever decide to do them flash, count me in for a set!

hey flash can you pm me his e mail also appricate it thanks

if i thought it was at all a good idea to do business with him, i would have posted contact information. but, based on him changing prices after a deal was made, and then deciding to do something entirely different than what was agreed, i cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone do business with him, nor can i in good conscience facilitate somebody else getting burned as i did.

lol - and i don't do PMs

There was a set of stainless sill plates on my car when I bought it. They have little Porsche crest emblems glued to the middle - with super glue I assume. Did anyone else have this setup and successfully remove the emblems without scratching up the stainless?

My plan is to ditch the crests and add some black adhesive vinyl with a long '968' die-cut out of it. So the sill plate would be mostly black, with the brushed stainless showing through the 968.

Porsche Shop UK has stainless steel sills. They have a 944 logo on the product picture on this page, I don't know if that's set or can be changed.

Has anyone bought the rennline sills from Auto Atlanta? I'm curious as to the quality of those. Ryker where do you find the pics of the sills you mention? Thanks

That one looks like it has less coverage than the ones I've got. I'll have to take a pic and post it for comparison.

The link for the sill plates the Ryker purchased is:

They are aluminum, rather than S/S. They require some fitment and finishing, not a knock, just want you to know what you are buying.

I'm going to pass for now.

also note: what he is selling looks to be the piece that would replace the plastic. it does not look like he is selling the flat plate that is much wider and sits on the lower threshold

I got a reply. I asked for shipping of 10 sets to the US (looking for a group buy). No discount 95 (British) pounds shipping.

Yes, these look like they replace the plastic. I am looking for the lower sill cover. There is one on the 944 in the ad, but that does not appear to be what is for sale.

Ah, yes. I spaced that one. I was referring to the replacement for the black plastic. I've owned four cars, and all of the plastic had at least some cracks in it, so I am looking forward to replacing them. 9xauto has sill plates:
