I'd be interested in sill plates as well (mine are getting scuffed a bit). b4 I do though I'd like to hear your impressions of them.

i love mine - no scratching peeling or anything after 2 years

Bob is of course speaking of Harvey's door sills. And, he has requested that his email address be protected from spam. His stuff is top notch; you won't be disappointed. BTW he sells on ebay too.

yeah - that's the stuff - i didn't want to put it up without his permission, and his email is bouncing right now

With the right backing this guy can get a web page going and could take all of our orders and ship out painlessly. Things have gotten so easy with paypal around.

i suggested the same thing when i was ordering mine - he told me he wanted to stay under the radar



since his email is bouncing, i think the next step is to check ebay to see if he is still making them

Harvey's sills are the best, period.

I love this forum! I went on to ebay, found his stuff and sent him a note, he responded immediately and included the picture below. What a great idea, I just ordered a set tonight. Anyone have pictures of them installed, not sure which style will look best, I ordered the SS with black lettering, but I could change if someone can convince me the Black with SS lettering looks better.

I had him custom make me a set with the Porsche Cloisonne. I'm very happy with them. They look much better in real life than they do in the crappy picture.

Mine are also the ones with the Porsche Cloisonne, but with no additional lettering. The only remaining tip is - the adhesive tape that Harvey uses REALLY sticks, so there is no repositioning possible unless (I'm told - too late for me) you spray the car area with Windex, then position the sill plate, and then let it dry.

Jim, I learned about applying decals, etc., with Windex from a sign man many years ago. It's a great trick to get anything with adhesive installed perfectly.

I will now be able to use the Windex approach. My sills were damaged during removal in preparation for the paint job, so I just ordered new sills. This time, with the Windex, I'll get them positioned properly.
