968 Production Numbers by Color
#1

Does anyone know how many of each color 968 were made? I found an article by a gentleman in the NE region PCA from 2001 who states that there are only 2 speed yellow 968's in the USA. I guess technically my car is not in the USA any more (Canada) but it was a US car. I'm pretty sure mine is speed yellow but will have to check the paint code to confirm. I was just wondering how rare certain colors are. Does anyone know?

I personally know of two Speed Yellow coupes: Leonard Zechedrich (sp?) has an M030 Speed Yellow Coupe in Arkansas and David Petiti (sp?) has a CS Speed Yellow Coupe in Denver. I am sure there are several more. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

I have collected color statistics for the cab registry. Send me an email at jeffery.coe@snet.net and I'll send you a copy. there are at least 5 speed yellow cabs in the US.

My 1995 M030 Coupe is Speed Yellow.

This is what the color code sticker looks like next to the fuse box:

I don't know what you guys are talking about. There are thousands of yellow cabs here in NYC. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Guys,

I have my coupe registry posted on the www.968registry.org web page. It's under the

"related info" tab. I have broken down all the colors...and some other interesting stuff.

I have 3 speed yellow coupes listed. I have collected 518 coupes...so I would assume that

there is a few more speed yellow coupes out there...

Take a look. If you have any info to add to the registry...email me @ G968@Comcast.net

Thanks,

Graham.
