I agree about colors at times bringing a premium, at least at the mid-level. Older Mazda Miata's in Sunburst Yellow (I think that is the color name) bring substantial premiums, perhaps greater than 50%, as BRG is also at a premium. 1977 - 1891 Pontiac Trans Ams bring a premium in black and gold usually, even if not special edition. And there is a blue that does as well. Just using these examples from personal experience.
