Canadian cars have a back seat. Kim Strong was at Celebration last year with his car.

My 968 cab has backseats -- leads me to believe it was of Canadian origin. You can also look for people parting our a 944s2 cab -- they also came with back seats.

If you have the storage compartments behind the driver and pass. seats, then you probably have rear seats. Just take out the storage compartment. If you open up the door on the storage compartment and look in there, you will see them.

those aren't really seats - those are the wells for the seats, and all the cars have them - the seat cushion inserts drop into those wells

a note on seat belts - i don't think late 94 and 95 have the nuts for the inner belt attachment and will have to have one added - early cars you just need to slit the carpet to get the bolt in there

be sure to check your state laws regarding seat belt laws - they vary from state to state, especially regarding children

just so you know - there is a difference between the interior of the hatchback and the cab, so the boxes aren't a perfect fit going from cab to hhatchback - the cab has side panels that protrude much farther into the cabin than the hatchback has (this is to house the mechanism) - this leaves a gap between the horizontal surface of the boxes and the side of the panel of the hatchback

if you are creative and handy, i'm sure you can come up with a way to clean that up though - shouldn't be too tough

Attached is a photo of a 968 cab storage box inside a 944 coupe (which I'm sure is similar to 968 coupe). Like flash said, doesn't fit right....

Don't know about the law but I saw it on the Factory sticker of one of the cabs that had seat. I guess it could have been a fake as it would not be hard to do.

well, technically canada is still north america, and pcna services canada, so that could be it - canadian cabs could have rear seats, but not US cars, according to US DOT law

I'm surprised he hasn't responded but Anchorman has installed rear seats in his cab. They seem to work OK for him. It looks OK, too.
