I saw this article as well, and I know of another '83 factory cabriolet Slantnose in Sacramento that one would assume is abandoned. I know the owner and he wants $20,000 for it. Not sure it is worth that because it looks pretty rough. Apparently originally Rod Stewart's car, although I wonder if that makes any difference to people, and if it can even be proven.

If it's proven to have been Rod Stewart's car, I call dibs on the passenger seat, if they're selling it separately. ( for those of you too young, just run a search on Rod Stewart's wives and girlfriends ). :-) :-)

Boy does that leave a comment wide open. Do you have a sniffing fetish or collection of strands of hair?

If I bought that car I would tear into it and will likely find some cocaine. Then sterilize the interior before putting it back together.

Lol, no sniffing fetish at all, simply an admirer of the superb ladies who left their derrière imprints there :-). I saw two of them in person, ( Alana and Rachel ) and can tell you that photos did not do them justice. Crazy-beautiful.

Did not think about the coke aspect .. yeah, you'd need to vacuum that out of the car first . He clearly had a sniffing fetish :-) :-).
