Bob just wanted to let you know that I received the issue covering the 968 chip challenge in the mail. Is next months issue your first issue with the new format?

also - i can't believe he issue went out as it did - i wasn't involved as managing editor yet, and therefore didn't get a chance to review the layouts - there is a missing page, a page is repeated, and this "double issue" thing is confusing

i'm trying to figure out how to get the missing page handled

Was the conclusion of the chip shootout on the missing page? Which chip was deemed the best? Was the test fair? Quality control adequate?

arrrrgh

yes, the conclusion was on the last page - working out now how to get that page out - will either send a complete article reprint along with the next issue, or include the last page in the next issue - not sure just yet - will also be posting last page in a subscriber section on the website

yes, the test were carefully controlled to insure a fair and accurate comparison

which chip is best is dependent on a few things - it isn't the same for every car - the article goes through the differences in detail

i'll have the "last page" thing sorted out in a couple of days
