2006 Season Video
#1

Similar to past years, I've put together a video from this past race season. Mostly for my own enjoyment but maybe you'll get a kick out of it too.

It is a 10 minute, 116MB .wmv file so if you want it to play uninterupted, it would be best to: "Right click, save as..."

2006 Season Video

If you don't like the music, a lot of the clips can be viewed seperately here:

Or better yet, buy race car & camera and make your own. I'd love to see it.

I was wondering when the 2006 video would be out. Great job again. I've added it to my library that includes the 2005 and 2004 seasons. BTW - It looks like someone posted one of your videos over on YouTube. Title was something like "968 Turbo vs. 944 Turbo". I found it when doing a search for 968.

Great Video.

I especially appreciate the spin, not because I want to see you crash, but because that's the sort of thing I land up doing <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Music is good, but I'd rather the car noises up front with the music as background.

I messaged that guy pointing him here a while back, plus told him it wasn't a turbo. Never replied.

I just saw that on YouTube too. I'm not too bothered by it, he did at least add my url to the end. Anytime you post something on the internet you should expect it to be borrowed, stolen, reused, doctored, misinterpreted, whatever. If I had a turbo I would have really kicked his butt. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

<kindergarten cop> It's not a turbo </kindergarten cop>

Thanks guys. I know the music is not always appreciated, but I like it, so thats how I make it. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Plus, all the other videos I do don't have music.

Excellent video as always Eric!! I've got lots of cool video from 2006, but I'll need to work on my editing and production skills to come up with anything as good as this.

Thr right rear tire was punctured (unbeknowst to me). When I turned-in the tire seperated from the rim. I had no idea what was wrong but I knew I wanted to be in the middle of road for as little time as possible. The 928 a couple feet behind me probably had a good view of it too.

Hey Eric, have you ever considered doing something like this?A video with stats overlay

I found this a while back on streetfire, and thought it was kind of cool. It's something I have always wanted to do in my own car <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

BTW, did you ever take any videos of that portland race that had no chicane? I'm curious as to how that looked <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

When I get a data acquistion system (It's on the list), I'll add something like TrackVision provides. http://www.trackvision.net/ This is pretty cool - http://www.trackvision.net/gallery/NASAVIRFeb06.wmv

The only Portland "no chicane" video I have posted is in this Enduro Video
