I'm a simpleton. I am just happy that a P dealer is selling a coupe for 20k. As for the options in the add, you can't ask for everything.

Yeah, those options are so rare there's no option code number for them!

I did notice those heated rear view mirrors. I never knew those were an option. Hey Coe man (jeff968), how rare are those?

Actually not rare at all. All 968's have heated rear view mirrors.

Thought the OP was intended to make fun of the ads boasting that the options were rare. Looks like hes saying the 968 is rare. other then that it Just looks like a list of options. Annoying the way he list each mirror option separately, and i did note the ad read "cloth seats". Looks leather to me.

So my mirrors are heated? i didn't know that either. is it activated when you hit the defrost button?

errr...I think that means that when you turn your heater on, it heats everything in the car..including the rear view.

That means the rear view mirror is air conditioned as well. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

There is an option code for rear (outside) heated mirrors. If my car has them I sure don't know what activates them.

I think pretty much every Porsche has them, the 944 and the 911's of the 80's I know have them. They just seem to work, haven't figured out how they turn on. It's either on with the defrost button, or it's on all the time.

Well, I'll say this. There's no heated vs non heated part number replacement glass in the Katalog. Hmmmmm. Strange that the car would have this feature and the window sticker not boast of it. I'll check window sticker when I get home.

On my BMW, the outside heated mirrors start heating automatically when the air temp goes below a certain point - probably 32˚ I'd imagine. Perhaps it's the same with Porsches, as there's certainly no method to heat them manually.

Reasonably clean looking car, as for factory options it has three, 1) Partial leather seats in black, 437 full power driver's seat, 595 rear spoiler painted in body color. It is #1,990 of 2,234.

I was in Colorado Springs visiting friends this past weekend and took the opportunity to check out the 95 Coupe at the dealer. I was curious what a $20k 968 looked like. Plus, I have a White 94 Coupe so comparing was easy. Here's the kicker - the two Sales guys I talked to said the car Sold for $19,900. You can clearly see the "Hold" card on the rear view mirror in the pictures. Just reporting the news...
