My baby got new shoes and a facelift
#1

So after a month, I finally got my car back from my body shop guy and the wait was well worth it. The car looks like it just came out of the showroom andI finally got to put the new wheels and tires yesterday. I thought I would share them with all of you. As I said in my previous post, I went with the Victor Insbrucks, 18" wheels which weight 18.5 # for front and 18.75# for the rears. The total weight was much lighter than my previous 17" set up. Now on to the interior...

The whole set up cost 2600 and some change with the tires. Wheel Dynamics sells the wheels at $1,499.00 for the set plus $100 for shipping. They are a direct swap, no spacers needed.

Looks beautiful! Can't wait to get mine back (hopefully in the next week). Paint and interior is next for me.

Those are very nice shoes. I had a look at the Victor web site and they don't list the standard offsets that Porsche uses (55 and 65). What did you get that didn't need spacers - 55 seems to be the largest they have.

since you brought it up what is the weight savings? And can you share the brand name & part numbers of those wheels?

If I remember right the front offset were 45 and 55 in the rear. In regards to weight savings, I dont quite remember but it was substantial. I think I mentioned it on another post regarding 18" wheels. The wheels are the Victor Insbruck and you can get them at Wheel Dynamics.
