As always, thats a very clean car.
Whats up with those arm rests on the door panels? I have never seen them.[/quote]
Porsche had high aspirations for successful 968 sales. However, we all know how things panned out.
To save a few bucks, Porsche deleted little things beginning with 1994 968 models (e.g., leather on the arm rests!!!!, engine bay trim, etc). Hence, my 93 968 came standard with padded leather arm rests; and 1994-1995 968s have "bare" arm rests.
I've had nearly a dozen 968s ranging from 1993s to very late 1995s. I prefer the 1993 968s for the little trim goodies and quieter cabin (seems that these 968s had more/thicker sound proofing).
That said the 1994 1/2-1995s are also very nice 968s.
Flash,
When it comes to cars, I'm fickle!!!! Most of my cars come-and-go. However, I did keep a 1994 964 Speedster for nearly a decade. Put a whopping 1,400 miles on it during ownership. Absolutely loved the car.
Porsche mfg'd sooooo many wonderful cars during the 80s and 90s. If I didn't live on a "postage stamp" sized lot in my beach house, I'd keep them all.
In the past, I've tried storing cars "off the beach." But for me "outta sight = outta mind." So I rotate 6 or less cars.
As much as I love 911s, the late 944s and 93-95 968s are equally wonderful. After all, they're all Porsches!!!!
