WTB: 968 Coupe 6 speed!
#1

OK, here we go:

Looking for 968 Coupe 6 speed. Most colors are fine, but NO BLACK exterior.

I've had 3 black cars already and I just can't do a fourth.

Black interior is fine.

Preferred (but not critical) options would be Limited Slip Differential and 17" wheel package.

Overall condition should be good to excellent, with mechanical condition being more important than cosmetic.

Service history is desired, as my budget dictates that I must know as much as possible about what may need replacing in the near future.

I am located on the West Coast (norcal), and will concentrate my search there.

Thanks in advance everyone!

In Sacto, after being born and raised in the East Bay.

Very interested in Bay Area get togethers, it will help whet my appetite until I actually have my own car. Sadly can't make next Wed, but with advance notice I could make other mid-week stuff. Weekends are better, generally.

cheers,

There's a Amazon Green car just like mine, except w/grey interior in Austin Texas. It has about 150,000 miles on it and has recently had a complete engine rebuild.

Let me know if you're interested, I'll put you in touch with the owner.

you might want to get on Rennlist.com if you aren't already. There are some active 944 guys in Sacto in the 944/968 forums. We had a fun run a few weeks ago.

I also love to hang out with the 928 crowd, and the rennlist 928 forum is great.

I'll keep you posted on any weekend 968/Pcar stuff I hear about.

In the meantime if you ever want to scratch the 968 itch again, head on down and we can assault some of the norcal twisties. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Indeed, belongs to wildwestrider. I've traded PMs with him, the car sounds good especially with the rebuild. My problem is making it out to Texas anytime soon. To be continued...

Awesome, sounds really good. One of the best roads in the Bay Area is Calaveras Road, which goes past Calaveras reservoir from Milpitas to Pleasanton. Just killer. Watch out for cyclists!
