Wiper motor
#1

I need a Front windshield wiper motor for my 94 cab. They are about 600 bucks new but I can't find one. This is the second one that has gone bad on my car. What are the odds of that?there is a place called auto fix selling one for the same as Porsche price but it's not a Porsche part, at least the way I read the description

i think a 944 type II has the same motor .

And there should be a plastic cover on top of the motor otherwise water get in the motor and it wil corrode leading to failure

I agree. Late 85.5 944 and subsequent should be the same. Check with DC automotive.

Try Douglas Valley Breakers in England, they ship worldwide.

smshirk, I see you are in Atlanta. Auto Atlanta probably has it but I wouldn't deal with them unless it is your absolute last resort. The worst people I have ever dealt with but they often stock hard to find Porsche items.

are your gears wearing out or is the motor weak? look at the febi motors for Volkswagens.... you would have to make a harness adapter but doable. you might be able to pick up a cheap one to see if the sweep and mounts are similar.

sonnen is a 100 cheaper but don't get georged at AA))

.

you must have something in a bind or water intrusion. carbon brushes go quick when wet.
