I have the stock suspension (no M030) on my 94 968. I've planed on going to the twists before I even got the car, its just the way I imagined my 68!
This deal on ebay looks pretty good but I was wondering if I was going to run into any issues going up to an 18" wheel and will it fit properly?

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

And along those same lines keep in mind that a 17" tire today is NOT the same 17" tire that was available in 1993.
Better tires alone could increase the grip enough to where there is another 'weak' link even for us with 17" tires.
Note: I lived in Germany for nine years and their opinion of mods to a car, especially the wheels, without the blessing of the factory is verboten! In fact, you can't LEGALLY upgrade your tires/wheels without the approval of the TUV (german car inspectors). And they will not certifiy any tire/wheel combo that the manufacturer hasn't said is okay...
and they think that we here in America have the same opinion...he, he.
Changing your tire/wheel sizes to whatever combo we want is almost as American as apple pie! But that doesn't mean that we can't come up with a combination that isn't safe...
And for the record I don't believe EVERYTHING that Stuttgart says regarding our cars...sometimes the business/marketing statements have nothing to do with what the engineers think!
Some things to ponder...

So do you still have stock wheels and if not what size are you running?
