I have the stock suspension (no M030) on my 94 968. I've planed on going to the twists before I even got the car, its just the way I imagined my 68!
This deal on ebay looks pretty good but I was wondering if I was going to run into any issues going up to an 18" wheel and will it fit properly?
You might need a thin 5-7mm spacer on the front to help the wheel clear the hub (and hub dust cover). I've known a few people to have trouble getting it to fit without it with that 7.5" rim. I have the 8" rim up front and have no problems. The widest tire you will get on there with the spacer is a 225 which is fine for your 7.5" rim, just don't expect to get much more meat on them.
The rear offset is fine. A couple people have had the parking brake cable rub the inside of the rim with that offset but most have no problem. IMO, 65 offset is too far in cosmetically, and so I would add a 10mm spacer and slap on 265-275 tires. You could go 285, but then the differential front to rear would be too large.
I don't think any Porsche wheels are perfect without a little help (other than stock). Aftermarket you could get anything you want.
Hope this helps.
