Wild M030 968s
#1

I'm getting close to finishing the 968 coupe registry and came across some crazy M030 968s recently. I added a A8 polar M030 with sunroof delete but how about an N7 Amazon green M030 with LSD, sport seats, a painted spoiler and an interior in Magenta (plum)!!! I think someone once mentioned seeing this car. That is a wild combo.

It was for sale in Chino Hills, CA about four years ago and had around 75k miles on it. It actually wasn't that bad of a combo. Sunroof delete would be my dream car!

The sunroof is something I would never delete. Perhaps for a track car but as for a DD no way.

The late 80s and early 90s was full of color. Clothes, furniture and of course cars. Just watch a few commercials or TV shows from that era. Miami vice and the the Cosby show come to mind. But ultimately I blame Prince.

I also found another speed yellow coupe bringing us to 9 in total. This car is another wierd one. It is a 93 sold in Canada. Apparently SY became a color offering in Canada before it showed up here in the US. It is also an M030 car.

Agreed! The huge sunroof is one of my favorite things about the car - Coupe weight and rigidity, with a near-cab driving experience. I keep my sunroof off most of the time, even in 100+ degrees in the summer (my AC broke over a year ago), and in the dead of winter.

...and Will Smith. AKA: The Fresh Prince. MC hammer too. He liked his Porsches. The styles then were very loud, bright colors. The style, and what was once a SUBculture, were just starting to break into the mainstream in the late 80's. I still like the loud colors, some things just look horrible, and dont match. Green on magenta, sounds strange, could be pulled off right tho.

I'm still stuck in the 80s.

when I pull up girls' g-strings on the sides, they giggle and utter "oh 80s style" (or something like that, as I'm distracted and not exactly "listening").

anywho, I have this very 80s MOMO Benetton wheel on my 89 911 Coupe:

I like all these interesting colors. We have that green one in our 968 Club in Germany and it looks really nice. We also have 968 Turbo in Bloodorange - awesome color.

Club Cars

Hey, that MOMO steering wheel might still look ok nowadays in something like a Mini-Cooper, VW Bug, Lotus, etc

" who is the actress in the photos with James Woods " ?! .. but, fortunately you quickly you came to your senses and realized it's Sharon Stone. IMO, one of the treasures of the era.. speaking of which, Basic Instinct would have been so much better if the
Gillette beard trimmers would have hit the market before the movie production

" Looks a little like Sharon Stone." Yes it is. Sylvester Stallone is also in the movie, but he never gets near the car. Kinda fun movie, but very 90's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Specialist

The beard trimmer or the movie?

Anyone know where that raspberry car is? I would pay good money for that one - as long as someone had pounded out the dent on the right front fender

"that actress with Robert Woods" - robert who???? Or maybe robert who cares? Sharon is the boss.
