I've had no luck locating sway bars. I searched in this forum as well as other and also on line. Any hints where these things hide. I'm looking to upgrade from my stock non M030 bars.

Apparently Porsche just went through an across-the-board price increase for parts. Not sure if or how it affected the M030 sways.

if Pete doesnt have sway bars, you can get a new set from lindsey racing (maybe sunset is cheaper?). Lindsey racing has a 5-way adjustable 19MM bar for the rear (which i have on my car). Its identical to the factory MO30 bar with 2 more levels of adjustment (one stiffer, one softer).

The MO 30 bars are a great upgrade but you really need the correct attachments to make them work properly

Another plug for Jason at Paragon Products. I got my M030 sway bars and the Koni yellow, gas-adjustable, shocks and struts as well as the front lowering springs which are progressively wound and good for street and track. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

It's a lot like drivng the 968 for the first time after the winter; you realize how nice a car it is again. I've been away from the forum due to too much work followed by being laid off. Coming back to it after months I remember again you guys are a great bunch.

lim - delrin does not have to be noisy - a bit of grease, and they can be very quiet - that does however, require a mod, which you can find here in the DIY section

Well, months later, no job yet but made some $ doing project work. As a treat I got Pete's package and Flash's delrin mod. I spent Saturday under the car in the driveway; it would have been nice to get 2-3 more inches of room.

Result = WOW. The car is sooo much more precise! It turns much quicker and during the turns adds even more confidence to the car. I broke my street driving rule and squealed all four tires on clover leaves to play with the balance; what a pleasure! Not only does the front work much better but transferring weight to the back feels instantaneous and a more confident grip/transition. I played making throttle micro adjustments inside the turns that were not possible before.

Our last autox event is in 3 weeks and I predict a minimum of 2-3 second time gain. Let's hope for a dry day for a reliable test.

For the moment I stuck the rear sway bar in the middle position. I figured I'll fine tune once I have the chance to get the car at speed (i.e. off public roads).
