We know of 968's in various countries around the world. Having lived in Brazil for 20 years of my life, I wondered if there ever was a 968 in Brazil...

That was put to rest yesterday, when I stumbled across a Youtube video that was posted 2 months ago. In the video, a Brazilian car enthusiast, makes a raving review of a 968 that was imported new to Brazil. The video is in Portuguese. But even if you do not understand what he is saying, it is interesting to see a 968 cruising around the streets of Sao Paulo. This 968 has 50,000 km, which the reviewer states as "probably being one of the lowest mileage 968's in the world". He obviously has not been looking at online and magazine adds from the USA, where recently I have seen several low mileage cars for sale.

Maybe someone can start a list all the countries where the 968 can be found...

he also did not look at another 968 engine to realize that cable should cross UNDER the rail cover, not resting on top of it .. yeah, yeah..picky, picky ! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/glare.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> fun video though.. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.png" class="smilie" alt="" />



and also waiting for the map, that would be great to see..

the key thing for the map to work though would be for members to update their profile with their location. we have a LOT of members who joined before we took over the sight, who have not filled out that area of the profile, as it was not required back then. hopefully we can get all of that. we are very close to upgrading the software, and are working on integrating a tool that will automatically populate the member map from the database. what is there now was manually entered, and that became a very large job.
