WHEN ENOUGH IS TOO MUCH
#21

They do hydraulic units but you have to order them not by the standard V3. The V3 for the S2000 has the external reservoirs, etc unlike the V3 for the 968.

Quote:I just purchased new Goodyear GS-D3's and the car is getting an alignment at a dealership. I also just purchased new 25.5mm swaybar and endlink bushings (haven't received them yet).

That is smalller than the standard front bar and too large to be a rear bar size, so what swaybar did you get

Well I guess it's hard to convey feelings such as ride harshness/suppleness on a forum, but I promise you that my ride is nowhere near jarring and I'm also betting that by reading my specs most people think it is. All I can say is if you're down under at anytime look me up and be prepared to contact KW when you get home. Bob, I'm no kid either. My old Mo30 package that had some slightly harder springs made up but probably not even 250lb/in was WAY more uncomfortable and undriveable on the street than my current setup. Technology has caught up and in KW's case especially the high speed release valves. Sure if I hit a pothole or bump I damn well know it but had I done that in my old setup I needed a mouth-guard just to get to work.

I need to lower my car... it looked OK with the 16s but I just put on 17s today and it looks too high.

Flash, did you ever do any more looking for a set of double-adjustable gas shocks (for rear at least)?

Oh, sorry I meant 'hydraulic', an alternative to gas shocks in back.

Flash, I am sure you already thought of this, but with the money spent on the springs and shocks and delrin setup..would adjustable semipro shock-spring setup be a better option?

i have finished the design for the hydraulic shock kits - 2 prototypes out now - working well - can go into production as soon as there is enough interest

looked at the bilsteins - won't work as a stand alone - torsion bars required
