Sag might not be the right term, but I imagine y'all catch my drift. With my car having 123K on it now, I'm considering replacing the front springs with new OEM (to keep it legal for SCCA B-Stock). Anyway, do the stock springs sag at some point, or lose some of their elasticity?
Is there any reason I shouldn't do this? Will the front end suddenly nose up like a mid-60's Impala drag car?
Curious how much those would cost new.
Cheers,

Ya know Bob, it would be worth $50 just to have some parts off of 'ol blue. Add to that the fact that I can turn the mileage clock back halfway and you got a deal. PM sent.
Mirror, I would check the ride height to see if there is any significant sag (wear) in the springs before replacing them. If you want a set of stock front springs, I will sell you the ones that I removed from ol blue at 65K miles to install the H&R Progressive Rate lowering springs for $50. I really doubt that you need to replace your stock springs yet. good luck, Bob Blackwell.
Maybe some day, but at the moment its cost prohibitive. Besides, I doubt it will be more than 2 seasons before its on to coilovers and a Street Prepared setup.
Thanks for the best wishes! I'll carry the 968 flag to the best of my ability. Wankel schmankel.
If your running SCCA BS you should upgrade to M030 front struts and springs. In M030 form 968's are great for BS driven right RX-8's should't beat you. either way good luck and I'm glad to see someone else running a 968 in BS.
