Wheels Are On Too!
#1

Finally got the new wheels on too - I have been a little "focused" lately!

Of course I can't really drive her since I haven't done none of the suspension work yet, but I just couldn't wait to see how they would look.

First two are before and after on the wheels...also one of the caps I got ($80 from eagleday.com) - painted the red in...I think they look pretty cool this way and will match the silver / red hood badge (yet to go on).

And yes - Cheerios and a touch of Stoly do help. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

8x18 57 on the front, 10x18 58 on the rear - these were stock wheels and tires that came off of a 997...rear tires are a little off from what I would like but other than that they bolt right on. The OEM ones seem like (from what I have seen) they are lighter than the same style aftermarket ones...

I love the look of those wheels - and that's why I have them on my car. Since my car is also black, though, I went with the black/silver center caps rather than the color ones. I've also had my front calipers coated silver, and I'm about to do a set for the rear.

And giving credit where credit is due I think I first saw these on a pic of Anchorman's car. Loved the look...

(And it least it wasn't my Quaker Oats and fiber supplements <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> )
