Wheel keyed lock nut.
#1

I have a set of original 1992 968 wheel keyed lock nuts (A 96536195500). One has failed and I now seek a replacement.

If you have one left over from a similar failure or even a full set that you have no longer any use for I would appreciate hearing from you.

not sure. i might have a set. i know i used to. just not sure if they went away or not. i know i wanted to get rid of them, for the same reason that porsche stopped using them, and switched to the mcguard units. the key/sleeve type jam up and fail. i'll look though.

Flash,

Thanks for consideration. You are right they were not the greatest idea that Porsche had and like you I have converted to the mcguard units but there are times I need a set for originality. Thanks again.

not yet - one more place to look - i'll be in that cabinet today. due to the remodel, it has been a juggling act to get to my cabinets. fortunately it's wrapping up now, with most of the stuff that was temporarily stored in the garage now installed, and i can get to most everything again.

Flash,

Christmas season; thousand of things to, places to be, presents to be bought, relatives to be accompanied and some guy from the other side of the world is chasing you for a set of obsolete wheel nuts. That does not seem right!

Your efforts appreciated.

Seasons greetings

Baz
