What's this part called?
#1

On front of the waterpump is a plastic fitting retained by two hex bolts with a hose running from it to the coolant reservoir. Does anyone know what it's called and if it's available as a spare part?

I've noticed that it leaks slowly - about a drip a second - and would go a long way to explaining my coolant loss. I've replaced the 0-ring howver it still leaks and I think the plastic fitting may have distorted slightly so that a good seal can't be made. I'm using a 27mm x 3mm O-ring, I tried a 27x2.5 but it leaked like a sieve!

I'll post a picture as soon as I can.

Is it #7? It has a 951 part number. I'd try your local Porsche dealer or, if its expensive, Sunset Porsche.

That fitting gets warped and the seal can not be made to hold anymore. It is a cheap part though and easy to replace.

Thanks Mikeo, that's the one! I'll try the local OPC first and then Sunset. I notice Paragon don't have it listed.
