I want to replace the upper radiator hose(s). From what I see on the car I have a very small hose that feeds into a metal black tube assembly which then has another hose which goes into the radiator. When I check PET it shows just one large hose that goes from the water jacket on the head to the radiator. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing. Anyone have the part numbers? Thanks!!

Yes, Porsche used two solutions ... the metal pipe as used on 944s and later replaced with the large hose. If you go the large hose route to replace the metal pipe, be advised you need to support it where it goes around the alternator belt. My car had a plastic support bracket at this point which broke when I did my TB/WP job. Some time later, I found the hose was rubbing against the belt.



The bracket is one of those frustrating parts that isn't available, or if you try to order what's shown in PET, you get something different that doesn't work. So, you might want to improvise a retainer of some kind.



BTW, I finally bought an upper hose on EBay just to get the bracket, so if you want my hose, you're welcome to it. It's not new, but appears to be in good shape and my wife would smile if I got rid of another of my excess Porsche parts ("are you ever going to use all this stuff?" she says).

I would like to stick with the current setup. Can I find the hose part numbers under the 944 section of PET? Would I check the S2 engine? Thanks

Check your local auto parts store like Advance Auto...... Pelican didn't list the top radiator hose going to the engine block but Advance auto did so I ordered it. Good luck!

Thanks, I checked the 944 section of Pet and found what i was looking for. Here are the numbers:



Small upper hose 944 106 235 01

Tube 944 106 091 01

Larger lower hose 944 106 239 06

clamps for upper 999 512 384 02
