Well, I think I found my 968.

Is that writing on the left fender of the last pic? Great looking car.

Yeah, I attempted to put on this Club Sport decal, but I only got the letters down right. When I added the script CS it got all screwed up and bubbled. So I took off the CS and just left the lettering. Not sure if I will keep it. I have some other ideas for the car too.

Primary observations about the 968 after driving it for one weekend.

1) It has a surprising amount of torque. Much better than the E30 M3s that I've owned. 3 liters > 2.3 liters.

2) Gear ratios allow you to use 4th all day long.

3) Exceptionally stable at high speeds. The car really seems unflappable at 80 mph+.

4) Really good brakes,

5) My clutch take up point seems very high. 1st gear really doesn't get you moving much.

Amazon Green (blue). I'd love to add a supercharger. No $$ at the moment. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/whine.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Until then just install this - $ 20 and guaranteed for an additional 40 HP and 12% MPG savings

Or, wait maybe what they mean is that it'll take your car down to 40 hp, and 12 mpg. :-)

Hi, we met at Hershey in April and I got to see your car, I loved the magenta interior especially the steering wheel. Mine is totally shot leather worn down to threads. Want to sell any parts from interior????? I know you won't do that, Best of luck with your sale it is a beautiful car, sport seats and all.

Hot968,

I've got some Magenta early style heated Porsche Script seats that are in great shape (no rips or tears) that are available if you or anyone is interested just PM me. I also have some sport seats frames available.

Thanks, Dan
