That's the one! At this point, I'm far from in love with the interior color ... and I haven't seen the car in person. It came through the PPI with great reviews, but I won't see the car until it gets shipped across the country from Costa Mesa to me.
I've got some immediate ideas for it:
1) black form fitting seat covers (front and rear)
2) black suede upper dash cover.
3) black cargo area liner.
4) black Porsche floor mats.
5) black gear shift boot and knob.
6) black 3 spoke steering wheel (maybe CS or maybe other airbag wheel).
7) and I might buy some black sun visors and center console cover.
I'm not going to do anything permanent to the car because I believe the car should remain the unique specimen that it is. If I remove something, I'll be keeping it around so that it can be converted back to factory spec. I am just going to make it more pleasing to me so that I can drive it without getting nauseas.
After I do all of that, I think the amount of "In Your Face" magenta will be more muted and tolerable. And I'm in the Baltimore area, so I'm used to purple and black (Ravens). Magenta lower dash, door panels, and carpeting (mostly hidden under black mats) are things that i can probably live with.
The good stuff outweighs the bad. The M030 option, the LSD option, the sport seats, the years of service records, the fact that it's a California car ... that's all good. I'm not sure how I feel about Amazon Green. I really need to see it in person, but I think it's nice in the photos.

We'll see how it goes. I'll either love it, or I'll be listing it for sale in the Spring. A few of my friends who know that I'm buying this car are already telling me that I'm going to regret it and hate it. I hope their wrong. I look forward to meeting up with East Coast 968 enthusiasts so that the East Coast folks can see the infamous Amazon Green / Magenta car in person. BYO Barf Bag -- just in case.
I hope I'm not making a huge mistake. There were plenty of perfectly nice Red/black cars available for less $$, but they didn't have the factory M030 and the LSD that I wanted. This is my first front engine Porsche. I've had a host of 4 cylinder sports cars ranging from 914s, to E30 M3s, to a Honda S2000, and a Lotus Exige. It'll be interesting to see how the 3.0 4 stacks up.
I expect to receive the car in a couple of weeks.
