Any tips for installing the new pump? Do I need to use any sealant in addition to the paper gasket provided? Anyone know how much torque for the bolts? Thanks.

On waterpumps I like to us a very thin skim of RTV on the gasket. Just enough to help fill in scraper marks that were left after removing the old gasket.



Torque is - not too much. Those bolts are very small diameter.

The Porsche spec for the water pump is 7 ftlb, secured with Loctite 270.
