OUch! I feel your pain...2 deers in a 5 month period on the same road. Fortunately it was in my Miata ratrher than the 968...
PA is the #1 deer killing state, over 100,000 last year.
Glad that your OK, metal is easier to fix than flesh,

I happen to love those little creatures, on my plate, or in a tortilla
There's SOOOOOOOO many of those things here in Texas - it drives me nuts that the tree hugger wackos won't let us kill the varmints - you know how many people a year DIE from deer strikes? One human life is worth a million of those varmints...
Well, it is that time of year where in some parts of the country the deer are just old enough to try to play FROGGER with you.
I lost this morning!
Funny how you do not even have the reaction time to apply the brakes or steer away.
On the way to work a young deer decided to run across the road, in front of the car, from the passenger side of the car .
I got a nice wack on the driver's headlight. No broken glass, just a nice pushed in surround at the headlight. It looks like the area below the headlight is pushed down and the lamp will not rotate without rubbing on the fender opening at 12 o'clock. I'll try to see if I can tweak it back. What a fun way to spend the 3 day weekend!
Head up to all who live with these wonderful creatures.
What is it with Polar Silver cabs? A couple of years ago, an SUV coming at me hit a deer, propelling it at a closing rate of 100mph into me. About $3K worth of damage, which wasn't as bad as I had feared. Just a little higher and I might not be here.

We have lots of deer here in Idaho, and I've hit my share. We really have to look out for the elk and moose who are more of an even match in a meeting . On a drive yesterday, seven elk crossed the road in front of me. Fortunately it was an open area and I could see them coming to avoid them and just enjoy their graceful movement. I haven't hit one yet, but I don't want to. When you hit them you take out their legs and their body ends up in your lap!
Cheers, Stephen
