I ran w/ my friend yesterday for a quick sprint through gears 1 -4. He has a 951 chipped and w/ a new wastegate that made a huge difference in his acceleration. I'm still getting use to the car and I dont shift as quick as him. Never the less I feel that if not for him getting in my draft I would've pulled away but who knows the 51 is quick.
So at closer inspection I've noticed that my new 68 only has following problems:
1, fog lights dont work, switch lights up so I'm hoping that the bulbs just need replacing.
2, rotors are scored pretty bad. looking to go to a drilled
3, drivers seat worn.
4, Hinge on console dept.
5, hatch struts are bad.
6,Clifford Matrix RS alarm w/ tons of options but no instructions on programming. I put in a batt and the only part that works is the trunk release.?
7, power seats sometimes work but most of the time dont.
8, No spare tire or tie down for spare.
9, No car cover. Didn't they came with them?
10, Roof only lifts about 1"
So far thats it and these are all welcome problems considering I was loosing sleep over that noise in the engine (belts were squeaking very loud, from what I can tell, simply from sitting too long and the rough ride as well do to a flat spot(s) on the tire(s).
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

I wouldn't push that car until you've had a chance to check it out more thoroughly and fix the stuff. Sounds like with all that there's going to be some hidden stuff to...
