Can someone tell me where the fan switch is located on the engine block ?



I'm ordering a switch from 9XAuto and need to know where to install it.

According to 9XAuto this switch will allow the fans to come on sooner and allow the engine to run cooler.



Has anyone ever installed this kind of switch ?

Actually not on the engine block. It is on the radiator just below the upper hose.



The switch works great. Keeps the temps real stable. You don't need to go to 9X auto though. A 90 VW Vanagon fan switch is a low temperature switch that fits the same. Heck, that is probably what 9X is selling.
