That noise is the sound of justice thundering down
#1

Since I'm not provided privileges to post in other forums nor respond to many topics, this post is here.

Tomorrow evening the evil dumba$$ and the lemmings (and evil co-conspirators) that support him will have the opportunity to hear objective evidence of the crimes of the most corrupt administration our country has ever had to endure.

Please tune in, actually listen, and then repent...because our very democracy is at risk if you don't...

As a former Republican, watching my former party descend into madness at the behest of a demagogue who doesn't know the meaning of the word has been one of the most depressing phenomena I've ever endured.

Same here, a Regan republican , disassociated myself from the party at the time Dubbya took office... boy, in retrospect, the man was saint by comparison ...

Yeah, Dubya was Churchill, Lincoln, and Reagan all rolled into one compared to His Repugnancy.

It’s clear from the hearings,  that the aggregate IQ of the insurrectionists ( aka lemmings blindly following their cult leader ) is most likely par with the number of teeth of an equal amount of spectators at a NASCAR event .

Part of the reason for starting this thread was the constant harang from those that continue to support their party over our country (too naive to understand that the evil dumba$$ isn't even a republican).

There was a palpable need to vent while sending out a plea for those delusional supporters of this criminal to just stop (that includes members of my own family). Please stop. Please let your representatives & senators know you want it to stop.

And pay attention. We were extremely close to losing our democracy from this violent insurrection and failed (thank God) coup.

Every day there's a constant barrage of commercials on the TV to endure from those candidates that want to represent me. But, they do so by proudly claiming they're endorsed by the evil dumba$$. No. Never.

It's shameful what the evil dumba$$ and his ilk have done to our country.

Actually there was no need to start a new thread, as there is one already , dedicated to this topic  “ Bobo the clown and buyer’ s remorse “,  in the “ political arena “  section  of the forum .

Is Trump actually at risk of criminal prosecution for his role in the events of January 6?  Although his knuckle-dragging followers would claim that throwing his a$$ in jail would represent the greatest miscarriage of justice in the history of the world, probably inciting more riots...

Sorry, I would post there, but can't...it seems when my account was setup it only gave me access to a few areas of the forums to post replys or start new topics. I've requested a fix, but it seems it isn't fixable?

Maybe I'll start a new account...in the meantime, my apologies to those members from countries other than the U.S.A. that would rather avoid such discussions.

I especially appreciated Liz Cheney (a staunch conservative herself) stating:

"I say this to my Republican colleagues ... there will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain."

I agree.

She has guts and something else lacking in almost all others holding office from her political party...integrity.

She also mentioned that a number (how many was it that Cheney let us know of now?) of the evil dumba$$' lackeys in Congress sought pardons for their roles in the insurrection / attempted coup.

Rhetorical questions:

Why would they need a pardon?

Did they commit crimes?

Go Liz....Someone has to set the Republican Party  on a new tract...apart from Trump. How can they allow him to control everything????? Get some balls and move forward away from this crap.

Hoping for a new start and some decent candidates in the future.

I think it would be interesting to have a three-way race in the next election:  Trump, some woke Democrat, and someone like a Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger, most likely running as a third party candidate.  I think the latter would have a good chance of winning.  I know who would get my vote.

A moderate , bipartisan ticket would be brilliant, but of course that’s never going to happen in this era.   Kasich - Buttigieg  gets my vote .

Agreed.  Both major parties have pivoted to their most extreme elements - you know something's out of whack when Marjorie Taylor Green and AOC represent the mainstream views of their respective parties.

I’m glad I don’t pay attention to National Politics. Both parties suck and are lining their pockets on our Dollars. Both lie and think nothing of it. I’ll let you here sort it out while I enjoy dinner. Flash had the best idea of moving to Ireland.
