I am looking to replace these guides in the fall and friend of mine with a cab wants to do his now. He has found them for 45.00 CDN (35.00 USD) each but I was wondering if anyone has a lead on these puppies at a better price?

Yeah, you should just get those. The cost of the guides is small compared to all the labor (to pay somebody else for or your own)
